I have an older nissan 8hp motor that I need a prop for. It is not a spline drive it has a shear pin. I don't have the old one and I am having a hard time tracking one down. Any advice on where I might find one?

I actually had a huge box of shear pins a few years ago.

I remember starting a thread on here if anyone needed any.

Don't have that now.

Where are you located? I'd try going to a mom and pop type boat mechanic. I needed a little connector piece for an old mariner, and went to a place in Gonzales and he had a box of used ones.

I have one in my garage somewhere. I'm not sure of the brand it's for but I found it in the street 20 years ago. Must be for about a 10 hp. Do you know if it's the same type props that evinrude used?
