I got a little surprise from the fedex guy today. I decided a yr or so ago I wanted to try a suppressed 1911, so I got with my gunsmith and designed this one. The jury is still out on it's performance. It's not a colt, but I hope the looks grow on me. :)

Any details? Anything special other than a threaded barrel? Jax on Sons owns the streets with one and now I want one too.

All of the ignition parts are Harrison Design, 10-8 slide stop and rear sight, Brown grip and thumb safety, Kart match barrel, Caspian frame and slide. My one issue is the GS stippled the front strap instead of checkered. I guess he was just use to always stippling my 1911s... I haven't decided if I'm going to ask him to fix it.
