I have a 2006 f150. The passenger font window is giving me problems. At first it was finicky. I had to keep pressing the button for it to work. Now I cannot do it from the driver side or the passenger side now. I'm guessing it's the motor.

My driver side is also getting finicky with me having to press it a couple of times for it to work.

How much should I be looking at to fix this? TIA

it's either the switches or the motor

When I press up on the passenger side switch, there's no clicking noise like the rest of the switches.

Are there any tests I can do to see if it's the switches or motor?

Looks like new motors run just under $100. Remans run about $70. I replaced one on my old 98, it was pretty time consuming, mostly because I didn't have all the right tools.

OP, go to a junkyard and get a motor, pretty simple to put in. You can rig up little battery cables with + - on one end and + - on other with small alligator clamps.. Put one end on truck battery and other end into plug that goes into window motor. If it works then it's the switch, if not then it's the motor. If window is acting out of track or stuck then it's regulator.

Eta: if you do this yourself use a plastic pry tool to take door panel off. Don't scratch your paint with a flathead screwdriver or metal tool.
