Power poles are becoming obsolete. This is my next trolling motor. Juke a button and you stay put

Poles. Plural. I had one and it sucked just spun me around down wind down current. Now I have two and their awesome. It's really as simple as that..

I get what you're saying but this trolling motor will keep you in 1 place; facing the wind.

I have an anchor button on my minn-kota trolling motor. Its cool, but it will spin you in circles instead of just stopping. Good to use on a drift when you get into fish so you don't drift through right away, but not quite the power-pole effect.

Thanks...I was under the impression it would hold you in one place, almost like a PP.

Good feature, but would totally screw your fishing in shallow back waters. Also, stick would be nice, but I would want a power pole to deploy by pushing a button when standing on a casting platform.

Yea the trolling motors we have now can already hold you in place but with no guarantees of specific orientation or positioning, we like to fish down wind off the bow when casting to points and coves n such, reefs etc so works well to anchor from stern via PP.
