TL/DR version: mine failed. Ordered Chinese aftermarket off of Amazon for $50.00 rather than pay hundreds for an OEM. So far it runs like a champ. Was pleasantly surprised and thought I would pass this info off to the OB in case anyone found themselves in a similar situation.

Nice to know. I've rebuilt the carb on my 2007 Big Bear and soaked it in cleaner twice now, and it still gives me trouble.

I've been looking at those Caltric carbs and for $40.00 it sure looks like a good deal.

My next step is to order the rebuild kit, rebuild, and keep the OEM on hand as a spare.

Just an FYI, I bought 2 knock off carbs for my 2005 Big Bear before I bought the OEM and got it running good.

I have bought knock offs in the past with other stuff and been fine but my big bear was stubborn.
