My gator tail is not happy

Legal jargon is above my head. But I'm trying to figure out how this affects Pass A Loutre WMA. Can the parish dictate state land?

The parish controls the waterways within it's boundaries, so it's basically a parish wide ban unless you own or lease.

I bet the sherriff will be able to sit at the launch and enforce pretty easily.

Give the birds a rest and not destroy what little land we have left...

Mud boats are able to access waters not otherwise accessible?

I've definitely seen mud boats get places where others certainly cannot via pirogue, outboard and walking.

What about airboats?

They can go anywhere mud boats can.

Airboats don't do the damage that mudboats do

Youtube mud boat run. Just fricking up the marsh for the fun of it. It's ridiculous. I'm guessing that's what they're trying to stop.

Always. Leave it to the white trash.

Mud runs are so trashy.

There was a pond I liked to fish over by the St. Jude canal in Port Sulphur. The only way in was to run all the way around and enter it from the north side. One evening on our way back to the ramp we saw an air boat jumping the marsh grass on the southern end rather than taking the 2 mile or so route around.

Long story short, about year later that exact spot is a cut about 15-20 feet wide. As years went on it got wider. In 2015, nearly 5 years since watching that air boat hop the marsh grass, what was once a small cut has turned into 1/4 mile of eroded marsh.
