Looking for a Ruger Sr22. What can I buy one for? Is around $300 asking too much?

There was one sitting in the gun case at Precision last night for @ $300. I almost bought it. Great pistols.

My dad had one, and it did not like most types of ammo I shot out of it

The reset on those triggers is

I thought I had a shite ton FTFs, until I figured out I had to basically let the trigger go completely forward to reset

Already talked to Ruffin. He turned me on to the Walther which I also like a lot. I do not like the lights and lasers and bullshite that was on the pistols though. That has no interest to me.

I just shoot the SR22 for the second time last weekend, so TIFWIW. You'll probably regret getting it.

Why not something like a Sig 1911 22?

Walther P22 with a threaded barrel. I bought mine used LNIB for $350. It's not picky about what it shoots. Best 22 pistol I've had in a while.

I've heard this. Leaning heavily to Walther now.

Look into the Colt 1911 .22 that's manufactured by Walther under licensing from Colt. It's got a threaded muzzle.

Palmetto State Armory had them on sale a week or so ago for $229. (currently out of stock though)
