I normally boil 10 lbs. peanuts with 1 lb. salt and 1 lb. crawfish seasoning. I do this on Fri. night during football season. Bring to boil, simmer for 3hrs (sometimes)4. Turn off let peanuts soak overnight. Re-heat next morning, drain and put into cooler for tail-gate!! By the way I do a big batch later to freeze in zip lock bags. These go into the duck blind and deer camp.
