quote:I know and agree. I agree with Romney on far more issues than Obama. Just don't pretend you care about gun rights while voting for a guy that wants to ban them (especially in a state where you don't even have to vote).
Look man, if they're both banning guns, it comes down to other issues which he clearly sides with Romney on.

This can go back and forth and never stop. Romney has flip-flopped over the years on his gun record. As a governor of one of the most liberal states, he did support some gun control measures (and isn't that was politicians are supposed to do, pass legislation favored by the majority of their constituents?).
As a candidate of the Republican party for POTUS, I really think there is no way he passes, or attempts to pass, any gun control legislation.
I personally feel much more comfortable with him in the WH.
Out of curiosity, which candidate (any party) do you feel most comfortable with? Are there any Libertarians running?
For me, I feel much more comfortable with Romney than BO and those are really your only two choices (yes, the two-party system is fricked).

quote:You live in Louisiana. Your vote does nothing. Romney already has it locked up. Why give that scumbag your vote anyway? Why don't you vote for a conservative like Gay Johnson, stay home on election day, or write in your own name? If your vote doesn't count, why would you go out of your way to give to a guy that is anti-2nd amendment and anti-4th amendment? That seems counterintuitive.
ok,, so your recommendation is whom?

Oh wait. Aren't you a cop?

And you believe that choosing to either not vote or vote contrary to one of the two people who will win the presidency will effect a meaningful change in what way?
