Looking to buy one mostly for outdoor movie night or football games (day and night time).

Any recommendations on which one to buy that is reasonably priced? I need to have audio out, HDMI, USB and would love to have full HD if possible. I went on Amazon and they have hundreds of various models to choose from and it's so damn confusing.

Thanks in advance.

I've spent a lot of time researching this but haven't taken the plunge yet. I had settled on a BenQ or Epson projector. Anything 2000-3000 lumens will do a good job as long as the sun isn't beaming right on your projector screen.

Where it started getting muddy for me was the audio. You can buy a $400 sound bar or spend several thousand and complicate the shite out of it.

I'll eventually take the plunge but the wife has me remodeling bathrooms now (tearing them down to the studs).

This guy has nice projector screen kits.

I have a BenQ. An actual projector screen will make it look better. A wall or sheet is just not good enough.

You probably won't like day games if you don't have the ability to dim the sun.

depends on your budget and how often you are going to use it. go for a higher lumen if you can

The higher the lumen the brighter, so anything during the day you're going to need 3k+ lumens AT LEAST. I would try to get something around 3500k, if thats possible.

been a while since i looked at them.

I have the Epson 3500 for my media room. It's very bright but no way would it be bright enough to use outside during the day. I think it's 2500 lumens. It was one of the brightest I could find when I got it.
