Trying to get a bachelor party together for a friend. All of us are in to hunting and fishing. Looking for some ideas that some of you may have done and enjoyed. Time would be february/march. Thinking of Sam Rayburn, Conservation goose hunt etc.

Cast and Blast at greystone castle.

Anyone that wanted could also tack on an exotic hunt if they wanted.

a few years back about 15 of us rented a massive house on Toledo bend for 3 nights. We cooked, fished, shot skeet, drank, etc. Wasn't expensive but it was a blast.

I went for a bachelor party with my friends down to camp, fish, and duck hunt by the mouth of the river. It was a great time. Plenty of ducks out on those mud/sand flats. We had some bad weather one night and all y friend’s wives and gfs started calling and nagging them that we should leave and come home early because the fog could set in a for a couple days. Only one boat had radar and it went out on the way down. Wildlife and fisheries stopped by the camp ground and told us we could wait for it to rain hard and then the fog would clear so we could head up river. The fog cleared alright but when we got to the head of passes we almost sunk 3 bay boats and a mud boat. We limped into pilot town, weren’t received very kindly and had a nice tugboat ride back to Venice until we could come back and get the boats the next day. All and all a great time. If y’all go I’d suggest less drowning and more hunting because the ducks looked like gnats.

We did a goose hunt in Eagle Lake Katy prairie area west of Hou. Had a blast and it’s a short trip to the city for nighttime shenanigans

Don’t know if y’all like golf as well. But we went fishing in Toledo bend and then played the course there. Was a good time
