I have hunted Kansas the past 2 years for pheasant. I have my own dogs and hunted public land. The trips were cheap.
I am dove hunting South Texas for the opener. That is a cheap trip, only a $100 a day, and cheaper after opening weekend...

I have never hunted the states mentioned, but I have deer hunted (bow) in South Dakota black hills. It is a very inexpensive trip with tons of land that gets very little hunting pressure. I have also been muzzle loader hunting in Ok. which is pretty inexpensive and has great hunting.

I just read that kansas had like 1500 tags left this year that no one bought! So they are now first come first serve! Go to their dnr website and i think for like $350 you can get ur tag and hunt public land this yr
