I'm looking for different options for a tonneau cover. I'm currently looking at trifold. Specifically the Toyota OEM vs. Bakflip MX4 vs. Undercover Ultra Flex. It looks like the Bakflip and Undercover both allow full bed access but I cannot find info on if the Toyota factory one allows full bed access. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. This is for a 2021 Tundra with a standard bed.

I bought a Tundra 2 months ago with the factory cover. It's been great, seems well made. It was MSRP of $1295, and I assume there are cheaper options, but I like mine.

I have the backflip and like the way it folds up all the way. It’s necessary as far as I’m concerned- used that function many times. But mine does leak like crazy.

Undercover Armor flex. Composite panels instead of aluminum so it won’t dent. Line-X lined top and bottom. Full bed access and doesn’t leak at all.

I have the Bakflip MX4 on my Tundra CrewMax, very pleased. Only has minimal leaks near tailgate.

I’ve got a backflip MX4 and I love it. No leaks at all if you take your time and install correctly. I bought it online on Black Friday for a couple hundred dollars less so you might want to wait til then if you can.

I've got a Peragon on my Ford. It's American made and thicker than most available. They just don't advertise like others. I paid $975 as they usually have offers for a couple hundred off. It's an accordion design and is removable for full bed access. It took me a few hours and 6 beers to install.

I love my bakflip Mx4.

Full bed access, easy to install, and it survived Ida.

I have a ram 1500 but I’d assume it would work the same on a tundra.

Not a single leak. I did have to trim on my drop in Bedliner a little to make it fit but a dremel and 5 minutes and it was trimmed.

I have a gatortrax MX retractable that is awesome. I really like the ability to lock it at any location. Comes in handy with dog kennel in bed of truck etc.

Sorry for shite pic but didn’t feel like getting up from desk.

BakFlip is the best option.
The undercover's that are made like the bakflips leak.
The fiberglass covers are the most ridiculous looking and heavy thing ever made for pickups.

then it needs adjusting. I've had 3 different trucks with 2 different bakflip covers and if they are adjusted correctly, they don't even leak in the car wash.

+1 Have the HD. I am usually loaded down during hunting season and the bed is full. I put the ice chests on top.

Nice and keeps the rifles locked up.

It does not without taking the cover off.

I bought the LoMax trifold. They took the Bakflip and improved the design on it. The sides seal differently to make it more waterproof and the third fold has a ripcord that can detach the cover for easy removal when you need access to the full bed.
I’ve had it in torrential downpours and it has done very well keeping things dry.
Mine is only 6 months old, so jury is still out on longevity but I’ve been very pleased initially.
