For those who just opened the second split, please let us know how your opening day went. If you killed, what was the species.

4 wood ducks at my lake in opelousas area. seen at least 30-40 though. going check it out again tomorrow.

Saw a few thousand, killed 6 limits of mallards and pintail.

I posted in the other thread but I'll repost here...
3 limits in Salvador WMA. Mostly teal, a few Greys, and a pintail.
Birds were plentiful but had to hunt late (around 11:30) to finish the limit.
