I know I've seen ACOG's in colors other than black before, but I don't see anything like that on Trijicon's site. Do people paint em? Or can you actually get em in colors other than black. I'm maybe wanting an OD green one over black.

Yeah. Not to mention RA was saying the company I got it from will get it here in a week.

It just sucks because I had two for 150 in the cart and hesitated because I wasn't sure if they were metal. They were.

Not worth it since it doesn't come with a BCG right?

Or charging handle...

It is an M4 upper though.

I know someone recommended earlier to get a 1:7 but would that not spin the bullets too hard if I use 55g ammo or possibly even lighter?

Looks like a pretty good deal. 1:7 is fine for 55gr rounds, but I wouldn't go too much lower, maybe 50gr. All depends on what you want. The only problem I personally have with it is the carbine length gas system. I'd rather have a mid length, but that's a personal preference.

What might happen since its full length. I'll hold out if I should. Also how hard is it going to be to find a BCG and how much am I looking at?

Starting to feel like a complete a-hole buying an AR right now. How much cheaper was all this stuff Pre-sandy hook?

So I could have gotten all these parts for 400 instead of 1200?

The main difference to me between Carbine and Mid length gas systems will be felt recoil. Even though 5.56/.223 don't have much recoil, the less my wife can feel the more she'll enjoy shooting.

When I started planning my build I was originally going for an 18" barrel with a rifle length gas system, but now I'm leaning towards a 16" 300 BLK.

They're still out there, just have to either sit at your computer hitting refresh all day or get very lucky. Or both.

Wouldn't that be even more kick with the bigger round?
