Maybe ALG?
I'd say the best two stage is Geiselle G2S for $165, I'm not big on single stage triggers though

Are any of the Timney triggers under $200?

If only. I would probably buy a .260 one and a .338 federal one.

Here ya go Kengal.

The pool of overpriced AR parts just got a little bigger:

I wonder why they went with the inferior stainless steel on the buffer spring?

ETA: This reminds me of the "who can have the most blades on a shaving razor" battle of the late 90s.

I get they're trying to compete directly with Vltor's A5 system. But, what exactly is this? They're going to use a rifle spring with carbine buffers? How's that going to go?

Looks like they copied Vltor's pricing as well.

I was wondering what they were trying to sell but now I see they are doing the A5 system. I put that on my SBR...I mean my pistol I just built to try out. Seems to get a lot of love...its supposed to help lessen the recoil. Not sure...but wanted to try some different things on this gun.

Uncle jack just built one too with a regular buffer so we are going to side by side it...altho his has some other differences so idk that it will be a good comparison.

I'm holding out for after SHOT when Vltor releases the 20 position that uses 2 rifle springs.

That was my first thought too, but it appears they are selling carbine springs for the 7 position and rifle springs for the 10 position along with regular carbine and H buffers. I haven't really read up on either the Magpul or the A5, since it's not for me, but I believe the key to the A5 is a proprietary spring, buffer and maybe extension length which the Magpul is lacking at least 2 of those if it is a "clone".

Vltor OEMs for BCM and I think at one point Noveske. Probably others as well.

Yea I didnt even see this from magpul so I have no idea. I think the "key" to the vltor system is using the rifle spring and still being able to use a carbin stock. The $ maker is the proprietary stuff lol. I bit on the sell of the a5 system to try out...that and a mid length 11.5" barrel from faxon.

Will be interesting to see how it feels next to a 10.5" setup with the normal buffer and carbin length barrel.

Sorry if Germans(not going through 612 pages) but I am on waiting list for some Spikes Tactical stripped lowers from a shop in NELA.

Spikestactical web site has a waiting time of 6-8 weeks.

Yes, I am a Spikes Tactical fan and I think they have one of the better products out there.

I want to get a couple of spares just in case our gooberment goes crazy and starts trying to do something rash.

Anyone have a good source that I can get a couple?

I am even looking to get another good quality stripped lower from another company.

TIA

What one are you looking for or just any? When looking for my billet upper I remember seeing places having the regular lowers. Not all models but some.
