Are you calling cabelas daily or finding the ammo online?
Where are you finding the mags. I want a couple pmags bc I'm building a fde ar, so I want a couple fde mags, but wouldn't mind s few il others.

Watch the thread over on ARFcom. The stuff I have been buying is not online you have to call their 800-237-4444 number. They are supposed to get more 223 back in later this month. Bought 1000 rds of FED AE223 for $500 this morning.

You just have to navigate the site, the arfcom guys do a good job with linking it, but usually will buy before they link. That spikes upper would have been perfect for almost everyone here

Doing a little of both. I don't think prices are going to come down anytime soon. Commodity prices are going to keep rising as the world economies rebound and grow. Steel and copper are going to go back up. I offset the cost of my ammo buy buying twice as much and selling half of it. It's worked out pretty well.

I notice there are a lot of these manufactures that will sell AR's to law enforcement. I have a buddy who's a cop. Is it legal for him to buy it and give it to me?
