Heading to ocean springs for memorial day weekend. Staying at a beach house and planning to throw a few crab traps out in the surf. Any one catching lately or have any thoughts? Would a backwater bayou off the bay be a better chance of catching? Thanks

I'd think the bay would be better. Over here in BSL they don't let the commercial fishermen place them in past the bridge, but all of the rec fisherman traps are inside.

Pogies are the bait of choice.
