I've been planning for a while on hiking it this coming Sunday. Anyone know what it'll be like if we get heavy rain the next two days?

The waterfalls would be running better than I have ever seen them. Clark Creek has small network of graveled easy trails that will bring you to some of them. I would think the large primitive loop (my personal favorite) would not be possible. Too many small stream crossings that will be running big. Also, the loass (sp?) soil that comprises the bluffs is real soft. Could be a bit hairy on the climbs.

You will get muddy on the primitive loop but it would be a blast. Just have fun with getting dirty.

The gravel easy path should be good anytime.

I've been there during and after heavy rains. It is a blast! It can be challenging on some of the slick stuff and makes for some oh sh!t moments! That being said I'll probably be there Sunday

Thanks for the responses. I've done the primitive loop several times, but always during dry spells. I think I'll just prepare to get real muddy.

Don't hike the loop after a rain. You will bust your arse
