The prosecuting attorney then informs us that he realizes it's bullshite and they would most definately lose in court, but he has not choice. He has to go to grand jury unless we can reach a financial agreement. He states that the FBI had spent an enormus amount of time and resources on it and people were going to lose jobs if they didn't recoup some. We estimated it was going to cost at least $150000-200000 more to go to grand jury and trial. Not to mention bad press and missed work, stress and shite. The wife was damn near suicidal at this point being threatened with 150+yrs in prison and $27 million in fines. Even though she knew as well as I did that it was bullshite and they didnt have shite and we could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt the agent was lying, she wanted to have it over so I got them down from $27 million to $43,000. The terms stated it was not a penalty, fine or any punitvie measure. Profit was made by a business during the course of a federal operation and they were basically taking "their share".

Got it dropped to $36000 by paying in full at that time. The rest of the $100 grand spent was on legal fees over the 3 years we had to battle this.
DEA agent got "reassigned" and is no longer in AR.
FBI dick got "promoted" (his term) to Fargo, ND in the middle of winter. He's a Cali boy originally.

Another officer involved on the dark side lost his job after his superiors got photos and phone recordings proving a sexual relationship with an informant and another girl he caught with meth and a lab. He let her go after they worked out a "deal". His case is pending.

I agree. I have always been wary of feds. My wife always thought I was paranoid. I told her not to get involved, but she thought she was doing right and they pressured her. When she was suicidal she did make me promise that if something did happen to her, that I'd kill'em all.
They even called a kid that was a delivery driver for her and tried to dig up dirt on her. They offered him $10,000 to say she gave him drugs instead of sex. He was 17-18 at the time. Did they really think someone would believe that she had to offer him drugs for sex?
They also picked him up for marijuana possesion in Fayetteville and offered to drop the charges if he would work with them. He swears it was planted and he didn't have any but they produced a large bag. He still refused to say it and they asked him why he was willing to go to jail and he said for one...it wasn't true and two..I'd kill him. He said he knew that for a fact. They asked if I had threatened him and he said no but he knew I wasn't someone to frick with. They let him go.
