On Catahoula Lake, the 172,000 ducks counted there was much higher than the 23,000 counted last November, and is the highest November survey there since 2010

I'm pissed I'm missing the first two weeks of the east. We had limited success Sat&Sun on the west early but didn't kill a duck after 7:30 either day.

The report acts like it's a big surprise to have good numbers down despite the warm temps.......gotta consider the drought factor which makes a huge difference. Arky, Miss. etc. are in drought, limited options for the birds, so come onnnn downnnnnnnn

100,000 pintails on Catahoula. 22,000 elsewhere. Wow.
