Don, what's there to do outdoors in San Fran area in thanksgiving?
I will be out there visiting relatives and am sure I will be tired of the city after a few days.

Thanksgiving is usually rainy. You can probably get on a 6-pack charter out of sausalito and pick up some dungeness and rockfish if the seas are calm. You could maybe hook up with a guide to chase some of the winter run steelhead (those are a hoot).
Normally I'd invite an OBer up to Sonoma county for a beer but I'll be in Idaho for a pheasant hunt with little DC.

You bastards up in OR are getting all the albacore too.
I've always wanted to go after them. Buddy of mine goes every year with a friend. Should try and tag along. His canned smoked tuna was amazing.
