Can't use them where I mainly used to hunt

I have a Strap On Bow Hanger that I can use on any tree anywhere I hunt. $18 on Amazon.

What? No. They serve no useful purpose.

Are they required for bowhunting? Of course not... I use an enclosed climber a lot of the time.
Do they offer more range of motion? It's OK to admit that you have more freedom of movement in an open front stand than in an enclosed climber... we all know it to be true...
It doesn't have to mean 1 is better than the other... Lots of people are not comfortable 20' up a tree without that bar for security and they can hunt pretty effectively from an enclosed stand.

I have the open shot (no bar).

I have a third arm or third hand mount on it.

I put my bow in it and climb. No pulling any crap up, no hooking bow to tree once up.

How do you have more freedom of movement ? Where are you going?

You are right... You win this internet argument...
You know more about bowhunting from a tree than 99% of the bowhunters in the world that actually understand what I'm saying.

Dang, I just wanted to discuss it. I hated every second of being in the open kind. I didn't "see" any of these advantages.

Here is my assessment of the most range of motion to bow hunt from:

Box Blind --> Front Bar Climber --> Open front Climber --> Hang On Stand

You just get more shot angles with less stuff in your way as you go down this progression.

I may have come off as a smart arse with my "PERIOD" and "/end discussion" comments... Sorry about that... I was just trying to convey that I thought I was giving the best option.
