I need to build a work bench that has a table saw mount on one end. I'd love to see pics of anyones for inspiration.

I didn't build this, but have always liked this design...one day I will build one for myself.

I use THIS design a lot and just modify it as needed for whatever purpose the bench is going to serve.

eta: doing the lower shelving this way makes it very easy as opposed to the design above where you have to do some intricate cutting or have slots in the shelf between slats.

I like it! I know that I'll need to have ample storage as well as being able to move it around. I don't have much room in my garage.

Would you go with a super hardwood for the top or make it where you could slap another piece of plywood down when it eventually gets beat up?

I know pinterest is mainly for chicks, but there are lots of great plans for work benches and workshop ideas from seasoned woodworkers.

I would use a layer or two of plywood for the top then screw down some hard board to it for easy replacement.

Also, I would definitely add drawers under it.

I've added drawers or multiple shelves to that design and I've built them from 2'x4' up to 4'x8'. Its an easy design to modify and it's modular. So, you can use the same design for a main bench and then do satellite benches that mate to it such as table saw or router table, have all of them on castors. That way you can set it up project specific. For tops, for lighter use I'll do plywood and laminate and for harder use benches a lot of times I'll just use OSB and replace as necessary.

I actually utilize pinterest quite a bit but lately it seems there are a lot of redirects and dead links.

Recently I have been getting the idea that pinterest IS slowly expanding to more and more "guy type" stuff. Guess I'm going to have to check it out a little more.
