Need/want a red dot for my AK

... That isn't a aim point or EOtech. Need to keep it around $200. What do you recommend?

For $200 what kinda quality are you getting? And for $200 will it handle the recoil of a 7.62?

I've read nothing but positive reviews about primary arms... So I'm pretty confident it'll hold up on 7.62 or 556

The holosun and primary arms advanced are very similar. In fact, holosun has a new model out that uses the Primary Arms ACSS reticle. I have the Primary Arms advanced on my AK sbr and it is excellent. It has held up great and I have left it turned on constantly for the past year and a half and the battery is still going strong.

I drilled and tapped the dust cover for the Stormwerkz rail on my krink, but that's not an option for a standard AK. Either go with the ultimak or you can use an RS regulate mount if you have a side rail.

You want a red dot that isn't an aimpoint, or you just want to spend $200?
There is a guy here (Nashville) selling 2 comp m2 for $500 total. I could probably get him down some more and only need one for a future AK..

I have an aimpoint on my colt, I bought a 40$ UTG for my M&P.
I'm going to be 100% honest here, the aimpoint is made much better. But is in no way made 1000% better.
I will put shitty UTG optics on every gun I buy from now on. I bought another for aluminum pump 12 gauge just to see how it handles recoil.
