My dad turns 70 this year and through dumb luck(and bad shooting) has never killed a nice buck(>125"). Looking for a nice hunt he can go on to get a "trophy" before he cant get around anymore. Im not looking for a 150" deer by any means. Good time and target rich environment is what im looking for. I dont do facebook so I cant search that route. Is there anything out there in the under $2k range. Id being paying for it and would probably try to hunt also therefore doubling my cost. MIDWEST is out due to cost, plus he has been with me several times there. See above for his results.

Help me out OB.

If I find a decent one on my cameras I'll let y'all come shoot it for free. What dates are you looking at?

Best of luck man. Following as I'm either going to pay for a hunt or finally find a lease to get on. PS. If anybody knows of a year round lease that I can get out of the city on within 2-3 hours of Houston let me know.

I doubt there are any nice size deer leases within the loop

Look up MC Outdoor Adventures. Got a nice place with plenty of animals and easy hunting. Mr. Mike and Mrs Cathy are great people.

Check Triumph Outdoor Adventures about 50 miles west of Corpus. Prices may be higher than you want but may be negotiable if you go during the week and if you go as a spectator vs hunter. Went about 6 years ago
