Looking at a Matthews Helim, Matthews Legacy, Matthews z7, and a Bowtech Tribute. All used, but will have them checked out before purchase-any suggestions and why would be helpful. Im in the market for a bow

What advice you need? any bow mentioned will be fine.... more than enough actually. I would get the cheapest one with the best extras on it. Freaking indians killed deer with a stick and string, and here we are comparing compound bows. Any of the bows named will be fine. I shoot a pse brute x, because it was cheap! That $350 kills deer just as dead as $1000 bows

Matthews Legacy

If the Z7 is in the price range of all the others, I'd roll with that, but those are all nice. Once you cross a threshold, it's personal preference. Like Yeller said, go with the one that has the most extras.
Are you just getting into archery? Do you know your measurable? Im assuming you do so forgive me if youre beyond that, but that could be a deciding facture. How tall are you and what weight range are you looking at? Those are two things to consider. Make sure the bows youre looking at are adjustable to what your specific draw length would be (height in inches divided by 2.5 is average). Draw weight - if you have no intentions of drawing a 70lb bow but buy one that is only adjustable for 10 lbs or so, youre pretty much stuck with that.

I'd look into the Matthews Chill as well... I have one and love it.

I'm the only Indian on the OB (as far as I know) and I have yet to do it even after owning a bow for two years

Arent you a dot Indian though? Maybe try baiting them with some of that delicious curry you guys do?

Yeah, I am. And I should try that. I am sure the spice will kill them.

Well putting an arrow through his tiny little heart will be an act of compassion. If he's dead, he cant have the spicy curry shits the next morning.

I bought a bear legion on Craigslist for $100, 4 arrows included. I took it to a sportsman shop and had it fitted for another $50. I'm a beginner and want to learn to shoot before I spent $500 on a new one. It's addicting as shite btw. Love it.

It really is. Im assuming youre a deer hunter too. It will be completely different from now on. It's almost like a completely different sport from rifle hunting.

And to the OP, try them out. Assuming they all fit you, just decide which one shoots best for you.

Get measured. Shoot the ones you are interested in. Buy the one you like. Mathews are great bows.

Keep in mind that all the Mathews bows that you listed (and any other Solo Cam) have draw specific cams. If they aren't the correct length you will have to buy a new cam ($50-$80) in your draw length.
