I have worn Columbia Backcast for the last 10 years and want to try something new. What are some other brands to check out? Columbia Backcast are the shite just wanting to check out something different.

Recently got some AFTCO shorts. A little pricey, but worth it. I really like em.

I like PFG stuff. Also have a pair of northface swim trunks that I cut the liner out of that are nice and light.

Change this to 6' and it makes sense.

I saw in a tackledirect mailer yesterday that Columbia had a new short out. The gerrys are good but seem like they run a little tight.

I'm a Magellan proponent. Cheap and solid built stuff.

I wear these every day, they are perfect. No need to change.

Always wear some sort of swim trunks. Usually those cheap BCG brand from Academy or some Columbias I found on sale there

Not trying to style out on the water. If you do it right you will have blood and slime all over them when you are done fishing for the day

Yes aftcos. Ive got 5 pair when it warms up they all I wear. I'm 5'11" and wear original they aren't too short. I like the elastic waste and having pockets.
