I recall you saying that you ran out of bay st Louis. Did yall go to pitre or one of the miss islands? Thinking of just running to Louisiana marsh and launching by the casino. Any tips would be great. Thanks in advance. Everyone feel free to chime in.

I run out of Bay St Louis every so often and we usually head straight for Pitre. Good times over there. A couple times we have been lazy and just went to Gene Taylor reef and have done surprisingly well. I'm hearing Cat island is where its at for redfish atm.

Thanks guys. Live bait a must? Under cork or Carolina ? Or straight line plastic.

Most recently, my better days have been live shrimp, Carolina.

Have done well with croakers and shrimp under a cork as well.

I would definitely not say live bait is a must but BY AND FAR my most successful days have been with live bait.
