Just got a humminbird 999 and plan on putting the navionics platinum card in it, mainly for toledo. Does it have good contours and show boatroads?

If the 999 supports the latest chips; Humminbird invested a ton of money in making excellent lakemaster maps for Toledo last year.

Highly recommend the Toledo chip.

No, use it with your navionics + or lake master chip. It is strictly for navigating the boat lanes.

I use navionics but I have Lowrance units. Lake Master and Hummingbird have invested a lot R&D into their systems. From what I have heard it is a good package. I have no time spent on them so I can't speak from personal experience. Look at Bass Boat Central in the Hummingbird section. You should be able to make a solid decision from some posts made there.
