Pulled it down completely for the first time and did a full cleaning. This is after upwards of 13k rounds.

I cleaned everything up with safari Charlie's cleaner and lube, wiped off all the excess, and lubed the slide contact points and barely with a small amount of 0w40 auto oil.

What's odd is that it is bump firing much easier than normal.

Always been able to ride the reset point and get very fast followup shots, but I had two mags earlier bumpfire five rounds.

Any idea what I did? Is it just a perfect storm of being worn out and now a little too clean?

I'm no expert but it sound like in cleaning you removed enough debris to smooth the trigger up just enough for you to have to relearn it.

Your glock is about to become a frag.

13K rounds means you should have replaced the recoil at least twice by now. 15K rounds means replacement of almost all of the internal springs in the frame and slide. You might consider going ahead and ordering the parts, doesn't cost that much.

I would maybe want to clean more than once every 13k rounds also.

Do this before it becomes a frag.

Consider getting away from using oil under the slide...instead use bearing grease

Glocks are fine with oil. Not enough bearing surface to make any difference with grease. Can always pick up some copper anti-seize like what the factory puts on them if it's that much of a concern.

Using oil...After firing ~40 rounds the oil benefit is gone

I've shot hundreds of rounds with my 26 in a single range outing and there was plenty of CLP still clinging to inside of the slide rails. Glock only specifies a "quality gun oil" in their maintenance instructions. They know better than anyone else.

Exactly.

Change that shite out now. They're not made to go infinity rounds without changing parts.

At 13k rounds, you should replace the slide stop lever and the recoil spring. Clean and lubricate as indicated. Use oil sparingly as Glocks do not like a lot of oil.

Hey now, I've cleaned the gun, I just never did a full disassembly of the slide until recently

Guess I'll check it out.

I will say, after 300 rounds of winchester today, there was still a thin film of oil on the barrel. Guess I'll replace zome springs.
