And is that Troy keymod I have worth a shite? My friend built it for me.. I just paid what he spent. I work too much and have young kids.. I didn't have the time to build it. I will build my next one though

You could have bought one on the black market before you asked that question

Take that muzzle brake off and put a thread cover on and it should help a good bit.

A muzzle break on a 5.56/.223 makes no sense if you're not putting a suppressor IMO

I bought mine to kill hadjis, terrorists, and the occasional neighbor. I have hunting rifles.. But you're right, still a big caliber cartridge.

Cool.. Thanks

I didn't post a new pic because I didn't want to get picked on for my shitty red dot. Didn't work too well.

You dont have a muzzle brake on there right now.

You have a flash hider. An A2 flash hider.

Any way to make this sumofabitch a little more quiet, besides a silencer? Mine sounds like shooting a damn hunting rifle.. But way more booms and pows

You watch too many movies.

Anything that reduces the sound signature no matter how small would be considered by the ATF to be a suppressor/silencer/muffler/can/etc and would fall under the same rules.

Muzzle Brakes direct sound back at you making it seem louder. They also make everyone at the range hate you.

Linear Compensators direct the sound forward away from you and make it seem quieter.

Shoot an unsuppressed SBR with a muzzle brake... You'll think your AR is quiet as shite.

No. Tell your husband or boyfriend, or someone who knows about sounds guns make, to get you a pair of ear muffs or ear plugs for shooting.

No, leave it on and double up on ear protection. Use those foam plugs under muffs.

Its not even as loud as most hunting rifles.

Taters don't actually work. A 20oz bottle works, but a 2 liter works better. I have not tried both and cannot confirm that they do work

You should try shooting a 8.5 PSD with a SOCOM break on it.
