Searched a bit, couldn't find anything.

This will be the second power trim switch that goes out on me in a year. Studs coming out of the switch shake loose and boom, no more trim. The switch is $20.00 on the mud buddy website and they aren't waterproof.

Last time it happened I had minimal luck with Mud Buddy CS and I lost a week of hunting waiting for the new one to come in, so I don't really feel like cutting it too close.

Question: Anyone know of a good recommended alternative trim switch? There are a few options out there but not sure if they will work with the mud buddy wiring, since the circuits aren't the same.

Any help appreciated.

I have the same model. My trim relays keep going out. I have a necked wire somewhere. I replaced trim switch also last year. I got mine at ek marine in west Monroe. I also order that kind of stuff of eBay an amazon. Get the serial # off of it and check online.mud buddy is out of control on their prices. They think a mudbuddy has a Porsche engine

Only advice is to sell that MB as quick as possible.

How do you like the auto reverse?

Having a problem with the rockers from PD also. Good thing is the reverse is the same as the trim so we can switch around. Been meaning to look for a better one to use, just haven't really started looking. I'll probably wait another week or so then start.

The HD sport doesn't have reverse. Only has a little ole' power trim and clutch.

Mud buddy's CS sucks a big one. We just got a GatorTail rig mainly for that reason. Join mudmotortalk.com for all the help and knowledge you can stand for your issue. You have to wade thru some BS on that site sometimes, but there are quite a few ppl there willing to help those who really are looking for usable info.
