I have one. Haven't had any issues with it. It's almost a year old. Installation was straight up with the quick release bracket.

I don't like how it hangs over the edge so much. I am a little worried that it will hit the roller when putting it on the trailer.

That's why you angle it. All GPS trolling motors will hang over. Mine doesn't come close. They make a bracket so you can slide it forward and backwards but its about $200

I think he's talking about how far it sticks off up front. my buddy had the issue of his hitting his roller on his epic bay boat. I haven't had any issues with my I pilot. mine doesn't hang over the edge either on the side due to the wider front deck on my boat. there is nothing you can do about the front hanging off. that's how they are designed

Yeah the head doesn't stick over the side. The part on the bow has to hang over but it's off to the side and isn't affected by the roller.
