Fished in the Leeville Golden Meadow area Saturday. We probably caught four white trout for every spec. I've fished this area for many years and have never caught so many white trout. Wondering if anyone else has experienced the same.

I fished Golden Meadow yesterday and couldn't find white trout or specs so your doing better than me . Only two undersized specs yesterday.

This time of year you can literally fish almost anywhere with a chartreuse/orange or chartreuse/red sparkle beetle on bottom and fill your ice chest.

i'll tell you why right now.....it was warm and calm all week, cool front blew through on saturday and you fished the day after the front, aka what me and my dad call the "blue bird" day, after a front rolls through you gotta wait till the barometric pressure goes back to what it was before....which usually takes 3 days, before the fish will start biting again

Igy no disrespect to you or your dad but we loaded the boat yesterday in GM. You have to change your tactics and move to different types of water. We cleaned 125 mixed whites and specs w 12 reds for lagnap.....
