Im trying to spray paint my ice chest in a pattern that is a simplified version of Shadow Grass... I have been googling and cannot find a stencil to print out and cut... Anyone have any other ideas?

Rough up plastic with 60 grit sand paper first and wipe down with TSP solution. Then paint with the spray paint made for plastic in a base brown color. Then paint on the stencil in any other color you want.

Though if you want something that will last longer than paint, go to a fabric store and buy the camo of choice (it is actually pretty cheap) and then spray glue it on.

You can use finer than 60 grit. Just hit it with an adhesion promoter before you spray the paint and it'll stick great. Did this with a truck grille and it survived 2 years and a crash with no paint flaking.

Depending on the type of grass, Miles or TM should be able to point you in the right direction...

I would go cut some grass and cat tails and maybe palmettos and use those as a stencil.

maybe take a look at reelfoot stencils...they are expensive but maybe you can get an idea from their website.
