No it doesn't look like it comes with the bayonet or anything extra. You can go to Cabela's website, "find a store", click on the one closest to you, and they have "current sale ads."

I have a Cabela's CC so they send me one every few months. Pretty good deal, $30 off purchase of $100-200 up to $100 off purchases of over $500.

Tried this and didn't see one in there. Did I overlook or are you not closest to the Gonzales one?

I bought the last two Mosin Nagants they had at Cabela's. Both had clean shiny bores. One had a lighter stain and one was a darker stain. The lighter one is stamped 1942 and the darker is stamped 1943. They both came with bayonets and other assorted accessories.

They didn't even have any out on the rack when I went in. I asked the lady at the register and she went to the back and checked and they had two left so I took that as a sign to buy them both.

Didn't ask. I'll keep checking the sales papers. They send me one once a week. I've seen the sale before, I think it's a pretty common sale they have (when they get an order of MNs).

I've always been a little leery of the later production rifles. '42 and '43 were towards the end of the war when resources were running out and pressure was kicking up. At that point it was about getting rifles out the factory door in whatever condition/functional integrity. I know a lot of these never made it to the battlefield but they were still made under those conditions. However, I hope you got 2 good rifles.

This pretty much applies to any rifles put together in Russia during this time period. Russia has never been known for their stringent engineering practices.
