LSU redfish I got it.

ETA: The 4 little piglets and one sow I dumped have already been worked over by the predators and the buzzards but the one shoat I wired to a tree has not been touched yet. I will be posting the pics later this week.

Damn! Sounds like you need to do a predator eradication as well. Are there even any deer there?

Here are the videos of the predator dismantaling of one of the hogs.

I wired the head shot hog to a tree and setup a cam.

It took them 30 hours to find it. The light of the IR camera obviously spooked them.

LINK

That inital scare kept them away for 24 hours. Then they returned. It took them about an hour to brave the camera and then they dug in.

LINK

Apparently they pulled it around the tree and the cam missed it but you can see they are working it over here.

LINK

Over the next hour and a half they removed the head. You can see it missing here.

LINK

Over the next 12 hours they reduced it to nothing but one leg and a spine.

Note the date and time stamps are wrong.

That's awesome! Thanks for posting those.

I went out to mine today and discovered what appeared to be some cat action on the face. Looked like they surgically removed the lip on top. But the camera never caught anything. I shot some gashes in it. Should be going nuts now.

Red I'll head out there midweek and readjust the thing so it can see lower on the ground. Might set it up for video also.

Had my buddy with me and he wanted to shoot it a few times with his shotgun. Number 8s. Just kinda pokes a little hole in the top then doesn't go through the armor into the shoulder.

This hog is big and badass.

Everybody wants one until the have to skin it. Tip: use a utility knife with the replaceable carpet/roofing blades that have the small hook on them to split the hide.

Try the search button. I have multiple posts on how to skin and process your own meat including hog. I dont normally waste meat but I have killed 15 in the last 2 weeks and just dont have space for them all.
