I hope errbody rips 'em. Last trip I had was taking Alx to my "honeyhole" and it turned out to be a gar hole. I'll be back there Saturday tho to try them again. Looks like the River won't be worth a damn for a WHILE.
Good luck and have a safe weekend!

Ah ha! So Friday Natty and I will try to find a few panfish and a possible before dusk topwater bass bite.
Saturday, when we are following AlxTgr to the white perch, we will actually be following you too.
And Sunday, we will be Living the Dream, so you guys can follow us. Ready to rip some lips!

I reckon I misled you in my previous statement. I'm not a TB expert and won't be there. Gonna hang close to Ellick and try to catch some perch in a private garhole I attempted to school Alx on.
I hope one day he'll show me how to catch 'em on the Bend.

Either way, we will be finding AlxTgr and following him.

Good luck on your garhole endeavors.

May try to find you. I need some tips. Is that on the right before you get to the ramp?

My terrible spring continues. highest I've ever seen the water down here, and it's dirty. May scratch.

I talked to a guy who lives at our campground near San Miguel and he said the water is almost orange it's so dirty

Guess I'll have to drive south to fish for my tournament.

Do you launch from the little launch next to that camp sitting by itself inside the middle of that cove or do you go to San Miguel Park?

I launch at that little one, it's our camp launch and is good unless the lake is really low.

I have cuts on ever finger from fricken white bass. Could have caught 100. Crappie should be getting better soon.

Caught my limit of bass and finished 3rd in club tourney Saturday. Water was too dirty up at my camp so I launched at Cypress Bend and fished slaughter and boggy.

I lost a 7 or 8 pounder at the boat this morning. Still don't know how it came off. Had it on a hollow body frog, it jumped twice, once not four feet from me and I could see the frog in the top of its mouth. Went down again and as I was reaching for the net the line just went slack, it had pulled off.

...another

...another

Saturday haul.

Storm Saturday.

Average size on the weekend.

Pretty good all around trip. 300+ fish. 7 gallons of fillets. 8 cases of beer. Guided trip was cancelled because of the weather Sunday, but we still managed to catch over 65 fish ourselves.

100 or so sacalait (around 10 or 12 were in the 12.5-14"). 100 or so brim, lake runners, and perch.
100 or so bar and white bass.

Fun times on the Bend.

We kept seeing this red and white bay boat and hoping it was you to put us on some fish, but it didn't have the T-top.The alcohol must have made us say "there goes AlxTgr" several times.

We stayed under the bridge most of the time. Fished around Big Bass Marina cove waiting on the rain after the guide cancelled Sunday tho.
