A buddy of mine called and asked what I knew about megabucks duck guides up in Jones. Since I don't know anything about them I thought I'd turn it over to the OB for some hands on experience.

I also suggested Hackberry to him. He's looking for a place to take his FIL for a retirement gift trip. They hunt in Lafitte.

Made a trip with them this past December. Nice place and the best guides to go with are Mack and Butch. We did really well until the last day, crappy weather.

Guy that runs it is Johnny Wink. Your friends will have a good time and all but the locals don't care for Johnny. He has burned some bridges in the past. None of that matters to a group of guys wanting to shoot some ducks. Like the poster above said request Mack. He has been killing ducks in that part of the world for a long time.

A company I used to work for sent us on a guided hunt with them. We had Johnny as a guide. We saw nothing within a 1/4 mile of us and Johnny fell asleep in the blind.

No way he goes for this. It's his FIL not his pops on his deathbed.

Why, yes I do in fact,, but first you must get a complete physical from your doctor and bring me a copy of it,, for if your peepee doesnt glow in the dark now,, it will after eating our beloved Wham Bass,, commonly referred to as "glowingpeepeer's",,

web,, i'm sorry, but the price will not change if you stay in your own accomodations,,,, i have to have you there early,,, real early to make the trek over to Franklins before daylight to roost the turkeys,, i mean ducks,, and then be back to Stink Creek by mid morning, surely you understand?

zee, u know i never said nuffin about 3 in a blind for 250,,, that 250 is for per,, notice i feed my clients good by giving them 3 sammiches, 3 drinks, etc. and furnish lodging, i have a double cab and pillows.
The coot hunt is $250, and the cast for glowpeepers, I usually throw it in for free, so with many assorted, mostly unseen, fine print taxes, that brings it to a mere $675 per person, per day.
