Note - The "free" .22 comes directly from Sig, not the retailer you purchase the qualifying .45 from. Bear that in mind gents.

The guy I talked to today and gander mountain in Beaumont said they have the .22's in stock. I have to get my local FFL to fil out a form so they can ship both guns to me. He may not have known what he was taking about though.

I made two GI's day this evening when I asked the salesman about the special. The two army guys said they hadn't heard about it and got all excited. Said they'd be back Tuesday too.

Expecting a few of the nightmares and Spartans in Tuesday sucks that I can't carry them home with me from the store.

My guy could have been misinformed as well. They only had one of the six (Spartan) in stock and it was on hold. They didn't have a single .22

Dad's Super Pawn in Gulfport gave the .22's away there on the spot. I had people on my Facebook feed going crazy over it. I highly doubt there are any left.

So we've got to find a retailer. With one of the 45's & .22 in stock

Wonder if you can pay in store and they can order it for you?

Store I went to had two of the six in stock but not two I wanted. As I said they are "expecting" a shipment to fulfill demand when the special starts for them. We'll see.

Went to academy this morning. They don't have any qualifying firearms. They said they are waiting on a shipment but couldn't say when it was to come in.

One day you'll look at your collection and say to yourself

"Damn, why the hell did I buy so many 1911's?"

Give us an update please. Rainy weather today so I can't get much done around here. I might make the drive to BR to avoid the $75 transfer fee from Texas.

Is that a good price for the C3 (without the 22 factored in)? How do you like yours?

It's snappy with the aluminum frame but I love it.

Spoke to Jim himself. He's not sure if they will be participating

Any update on Louisiana dealers? Still confused whether you receive the 22 from the dealer or directly from Sig? Seems like a lot of misinformation going around.

Ferrara's in BR is not participating. This is what they posted on their FB page:

quote:

Info on SIG Promotion

Dealers had to purchase the 1911's at SHOT show to get the free .22lr 1911's. At this point it is too late to get free .22lr pistols so we cannot participate in the program.

I am sorry we cannot participate in this program, however it is beyond our control.
