No. Closer to Carslile. The crew I lease to is mostly from Cutoff, I believe.

That whole area is eat up with Coonasses.

Well if you ever get tired of those uncivilized people from down the bayou, let me know. I have a crew ready to snatch up a parcel that size

But I'm from farther down the bayou

How many guys do you lease to and are there ever any open spots?

I would be open to coming if enough guys would do it. I could probably get one guy - $1000 is hard to come up with for a hunt right after Christmas, but that's right up my alley. I can send my email for any information.

The Cutoff guys have a club and they take care of everything. I have been leasing to them for 22 years with no problems. I am now leasing to the sons of some original fathers who have passed away. We have a great relationship.

Still a couple of spots open. Email me at Leigh@mountainpinefloors.com

Cheers

Are you talking about open spots in the land you lease or for the doe hunt? Just joined in on reading this thread.

The 400 acres I lease to the guys from Cutoff is off the table. That's their lease.

The doe/hog hunt I'm talking about it on the 2400 acres of family land that is not hunted by anyone except me and my nephews.

I hate that I missed this thread, my boy would have loved going and shooting a couple does. The thought of having one cleaned for 20 bucks makes me happy inside.

Good luck

Yeah. I had a couple of guys who had to back out. So I've still got some spots open.

$1000 for two days of unlimited does and hogs. $1500 extra if you see a buck you can't live without. Meals and lodging included. Deer cleaning for $20 or you can DIY.

ETA: weekend of the 28th. Fri noon to Sun noon.

I'd be interested in a doe/hog hunt if we could get enough guys from the OB to go.

Colors, will you be providing transportation to and from stands or would I need to pull the Ranger over?

The place has a very good internal road system, and we can take you to and from stands. Most places we can get in pickups. If it's wet, I have a Ranger to retrieve deer from sticky places. Having said that, bringing a Ranger would be helpful if it's not too much trouble. Either way is OK.
