This. I got mine over 20 years ago and the iron sights on the M1A are the best around. Back then I used to blow up 2.5 gallon water jugs at 300 yards regularly. Of course, my eyes were a lot better back then. Not sure if I could do that now.

Depending on your budget, you could get a GAP 10 gen ii and blow the m1a out of the water.
