it definitely does but if you can kill a mature animal on public land, that is a very hard thing to do.
Taking a nice basket rack buck on public land with a bow is way more rewarding and impressive than taking a 180" deer on a private club with a book of rules as thick as a harry potter book. IMO

Tons of em. I hunt public primarily but I’ve been a part of several “clubs” and find them to be stuffy.

I would dare to bet that most of us if we were gifted by someone with the $10,000 membership to a high-end club, and we killed a 180 inch hammer, we would be extremely ecstatic about it and extremely thankful. Don’t think you would be wishing you were still hunting public land Basket Racks at that moment.
Def agree that it’s so ridiculously expensive and we can’t all afford it for sure, and it is getting way too expensive to have access to something really good.
