re: LSU Lakes Fishing

I have fished University Lake in my Bass boat using the trolling motor many times. I am kind of confused by the rule there. They put in a nice boat launch in the late 80s early 90s?????

Last time I went was probably 10 years ago, it is very silted in and I had to run my trolling motor almost at the surface to keep from getting hung up on random stuff.

We launched a bateau at the landing on dalrymple and trolled all the way across that lake to where Morning Glory runs into the lake and used a spinner bait and caught prob about 10-12 bass ranging from 2-4 pounds. Then we trolled the bank around that massive house on the point with brush jigs and worms and caught a lot of bass. we were shocked at the number of bass we caught! This was this past spring on a calm morning. NO WE DID NOT KEEP ANY TO EAT!
