Louisiana law regarding scopes with illumination?

I'm looking into getting a new scope for my rifle and was looking into a Meopta MeoStar R1 3-12x56 RD and was wondering if it is legal to use the scope while hunting whitetail as long as shots aren't fired after hunting hours.
I was looking into the scope so I could use it to hunt hogs and coyotes at night also which is why I was looking at the illumination feature of the scope, but I'm not going to spend the money for it if I can only use it to hunt hogs and coyotes.
