I was in your same position recently. I wanted a new FX4 but didnt want a 40k truck that I would be scared to get dirty or scratched up. I settled for a 2010 FX4 with 50k miles. Paid 25k it has remainder of factory warranty to 70k miles and I bought a bumper to bumper extended warranty that covers me up to 100k through USAA for an additional 2.5k.

Why would I take money out of an investment vehicle paying me an average of 7% when I can borrow the money for the truck at 1.9%? It's almost like free money.
