10k - 15k Was looking to see if anyone had a hook up on decent used vehicles. Dealerships here are ridiculous and I know them all.

I am trying to buy a truck now and market around here sucks. Vaughn will occasionally get some decent stuff in their used lots as well as Walker. It seems that the Texas markets have better deals than anywhere around here. I would start in Houston and look throughout east Texas.

Don's wholesale under $15K

The na-dak-kadack place down the street from you just past Big John's always has nice stuff.

Look in Texas for a smaller extended cab truck. You can probably find an 04 Tacoma for underneath that budget. Hell, you could find one that needs a tune-up and teach him how to respect a vehicle.

Trust me, I know all about being young and tearing up trucks. Extended cab keeps too many people from piling in all of the time and a smaller engine keeps him from going wild all of the time. You also don't want something flashy so he can draw attention to himself

Look for a used 99-07 GMC/Chevy.

Those trucks are solid. I miss my 02 Chevy more than anything.

That's what he wants. Trust me, your previous reply makes perfect sense to a 49 year old. Prolly not so much to a 16 year old.

Miss my 99 chevy. Sometimes, it think about trading in the new truck for an old one.

Check auto trader man. You will find what you want on there.
