Chicot State Park. You won't regret.
Many camp at the south end but the north end is flatter and a bit quieter.

Chicot SP, Bogue Chitto, and Fausse Point are the best in Louisiana.

They need to start some kind of priority point system. Someone who keeps a spot in the winter like you do, you'd be all up in dere.

I knew they started taking reservations. Have never had trouble with 4th of July before. Live and learn. Can't wait for the last week in September.

Chicot State Park. That place is huge with over 200 campsites. They'll always find one more spot there...

Bogue Chitto gets my vote.

If the boys are closer to 10 they would probably like tubing the river more than the splash pad. Also there are more trails than you care to hike/bike.
