Hard to say without knowing where you are fishing. Like, exactly where are you fishing. What ramp you are using. How far you are running. Could you show us on google earth?

Kidding aside, I like small poppers and woolly bugger variants. Skip bass pro and go to Orvis. Someone will actually help you pick out what you need depending on the water you are fishing.

Olive is my favorite color.

Last but not least, the crappie candy

Local ponds, I have some boogers and will probably just pick up a few poppers.

Plenty of both have been caught on wooly buggers and clousers so that's as good a place as any to start. For the buggers, olive, black, chartreuse, and white are good places to start. Sizes in the 6-10 range. For the clousers, Chart./white, olive/white, Blue/white are my usual colors. 2-6 range is probably a good place to start. I tend to stay on the smaller side for small ponds.

Throw a few poppers on top of that and you'll be off to a good start.

If they have something that looks similar, the little guy on the bottom right in this picture has been killing it for me on some small ponds lately.

I just pulled up a decent bass (pictured) and a smaller bass on a Bream getter. After I got the 2, I switched to a frog pattern fly a got the gar.
